Laptop turns on but screen stays black and it turns off again?

I can turn it on. It all lights work, I can turn the keyboard lighting on and off everything. But the screen stays black and after a few minutes it turns off by itself. He was plugged in all the time, so it can't be the battery. Yesterday he was still working. He is very new please help! 😭

Has your PC made a WINDOWS 10 update in the background?
