I have a small or maybe a bigger problem.
It's about my Acer Predator Helios 300, it all started last night. When I wanted to turn it on, the screen was black, you didn't even see the "Acer" logo when booting up, which always appears there. Well then I switched it off again with the "On / Off" button. Then booted it up again - still black.
Then I just folded the laptop down, waited about a minute and then went back up - and suddenly there was a picture again. I actually thought the thing was done now, but I thought wrong.
It worked at noon today and until now. The only thing I was doing right now was that I opened the screen a little further and suddenly it went black again. Then of course I did the same procedure as yesterday, but it didn't help.
Of course, I also followed the tips in Google as far as possible, but unfortunately nothing worked. But the thing is that when I connect it to HDMI, a picture comes up on my second screen and I can use it without any problems - which is great, of course, but I find it quite cumbersome, especially since I sometimes use it on the go and I can hardly take a second screen with me. : ')
Just for info: operating system is Windows 10 and all updates are done.
I hope someone can help me, if not then they probably have to be sent in.
The ribbon cable to the display may have a defect (breakage), when moving the display the picture may come, go away, etc.
Eventeull you could verify the error by connecting an external monitor, TV via HDMI / VGA.
Hi! First of all sorry for the late reply. It was actually the cable…
