So I would like to expand my RAM. I already have 8 GB from the factory. Now I have found several suitable memories for my laptop on the www.speicher.de website, but I would like to know which memories fit exactly. What timing do I need?
I also attached an image with my memory data.
Or better yet, just say what kind of laptop you have.
You have to check which memory it is. So very precisely. Then you just buy it again. Does this support your laptop at all?
It would be better to get a kit (2x8GB). They are then precisely coordinated.
You can read this out with CPU-Z under SPD.
Have already added the picture of the Task Manager. Have an Acer Nitro AN 515-52-56P3
Can I buy a larger memory or is it clocked down?
In the kit yes. Individually… I don't know exactly, I've never done it. You have to make sure that your laptop supports it.
Can I remove the old one and buy two of the same new ones? Is it the same as a kit?
Clear. But if in the kit.
But I don't find a kit at Speicher.de, can't I just buy two of the same, is it like a kit?
Why at Speicher.de? Have a look at Mindfactory. The things with them are very cheap.
Could you download the program and make a screen again: https://www.chip.de/...84174.html
Ok and if I remove the old one and the two new ones, is there any data deleted or is there something different? And does the PC recognize the new memory immediately?
If everything works and is compatible, it will be recognized immediately. Most of the time.
Ok and data are not affected?
No. It only RAM. It stores no data without electricity.
