How is that supposed to work, moreover the operating system does not play from a hard disk or I'm just not sure I had installed a bootable stick linux Ubuntu and that was that, but I would like to do everything as good as possible and set up the PC again from a bootable stick set up another Linux Destribution like MX Linux because somehow it does not work that I can simply boot the stick because the error is on the pc because on the laptop it seems to work so the idea is simply to re-set everything from the bios but is that possible and how should it work?
You can only install the operating system via a USB stick or something similar, the BIOS can't do anything there.
If the unspeakable Microsoft SecureBoot is switched off in the BIOS and USB booting in the BIOS is switched on, then boot from the bootable Linux Live pen. Before that either press the key for the boot menu (e.g. F12) several times when switching on and select USB, or set the boot sequence to "USB first". If that doesn't work, order a USB pen with Live Linux Mint Cinnamon from IXSOFT for 10 euro.
In the case of annoying computers, simply unplug the hard disk before booting from USB, then insert the disk again during operation, then the installation can start by clicking "Install" on the Linux Live Desktop.
Once you have installed Linux Mint, you are well prepared. In the start menu there's the "USB image creator" as standard so that you can make any USB pen with any Linux image (free download) a Live USB pen. Linux can do that.
You may then no longer need the restricted, insecure Windows.
Every beginner can handle the Linux installation well, there are also good video instructions on YouTube. Windows is more complicated to use.
