Do all processors for laptop fit for laptop?

I have a laptop that is slow and has an Athlon x2. Would like to exchange it with Intel Core (example intel 2, 3, or 5) would that work?

You can't swap the processor on a laptop.

AMD against INTEL not at all, on any computer in the world

Without having a clue about it anyway. Have a s1g2 socket. You can't just add an x cheap one. However, there would be none that would be really worthwhile for the base.

Ne that won't work. You can't add an Intel processor to a motherboard with AMD processor compatibility. Because Intel CPUs are built a little differently than AMD and would not even fit on a socket there.

In general, it would generally not work when replacing a laptop with a CPU. You can at most add more RAM and from HDD to SSD hard drive, so that at least the operating system and programs start faster without your hard drive being constantly overwhelmed.

Otherwise you can buy a new laptop straight away.

There were once Dell notebooks where you could swap the processor.

And with XMG, the large notebooks, the processors can also be exchanged: https://www.xmg.gg/xmg-ultra-17

But only Intel against Intel. At Dell that was just Intel at the time.

With most laptops, the CPU can't be removed at all.

And even if they do, only processors fit on it that have the right socket, which is usually only one or two with laptops.

If it is possible to swap, then do it correctly without damaging the laptop and reassemble everything correctly, that's another matter.

It's practically impossible.

Anyone who asks questions like this should keep their hands off the laptop, rather a slow laptop than a broken laptop.

The mainboard (also called the motherboard) is the motherboard of a computer on which the basic electronics are mounted.

The mainboard determines which CPU can be installed and with which performance the RAM bars run. This means that a PC can initially only be upgraded within its mainboard limits. If you want even more power, you would need a https://www.giga.de/...is-achten/ and https://www.giga.de/...so-geht-s/
