Funny question though… I just dropped my fried egg (fried egg in pan) onto the keyboard of my laptop… It's a really strange thing, but in any case the yolk and the egg white are now everywhere under the keys and some of the affected keys are so spongy now, so it takes longer for them to "come back". The laptop is splashproof, but of course I don't just hold the garden hose on the keyboard. XD Even when I remove the buttons, I don't get anywhere to remove all the "dirt". Can I remove the keyboard and then wash it, or does it corrode? Can anyone help me, please?!
You would have to take the laptop apart completely
That doesn't sound very good, but thanks for your answer! : /
I know that doesn't sound good, but that's the only way to do it properly
Okay, and how do I take the laptop apart?
First switch off the laptop and disassemble the keyboard, then you have to wash it with a damp cloth, very carefully and then dry it immediately.
Okay thanks!
Find screw points and then screw on
But what does it do if the keyboard is on the other side?
Usually the keys are a mat and so you can take them out when you open your laptop and you have to open the screws because with a laptop the keys are not usually attached individually but a keyboard layout mat that is placed over them
So, I have now removed the keyboard and have come to the realization that I will never get another device other than Lenovo. I kept the removed keyboard under water until everything was clean, everything is still fine and like on the first day!
