I use the Lioncast LX 50 headset and a tower PC (so no second mic from the laptop). I have the problem that friends often complain that they hear my ingame sounds or themselves when there are loud sounds (so only when the sounds exceed a certain level do you hear them shots at CSGO but nothing changes when I use my headset quieter or completely mute). This happens even if I put the micro on the switch on the cable to OFF and even if I stake out the Stake Micro. I've tried a lot, reinstalled drivers. Settings for the input and output devices checked (if somewhere an output device is also set as an input device… Is not the case) Stereomix is also deactivated. I was told that I have to have a second mic, because I like At the same time can talk about discord and Skype with a time delay, but I can't imagine that with my tower PC that there's a micro installed. I do not know what to do anymore. Does anyone have an approach for me why this can be? I added 2 screenshots of my playback and recording devices, if that helps.
If I have not given enough information what components / software I use, just ask. I would be very grateful for a tip!
Greeting Stefan
A second microphone is excluded, this would indeed be listed in such a case, moreover, in a PC anyway actually never a microphone installed, which would have to be if already external, such as in a webcam. Internal exceptions are laptops, but only because of the integrated webcam. It will either be a driver problem or a problem with the sound card or a wrong setting. Check the sound settings in Discord or In Teamspeak and look in the Windows sound settings (in the micro), if this is somehow set as a playback device. Check also the drivers if they are up to date or try to reinstall them again. Also unplug the headset, uninstall the driver if one was present, then check if the problem persists. Also try to plug in the device at the front instead of the back or vice versa.
Should you now in my post read out something that you have already done and also mentioned, such as the reinstallation of the drivers, please do not be surprised, I prefer to write everything again in a nutshell and clear, before something neglected and forget. There can be many causes, to find the real culprit is just a bit difficult with something like that, because I have to experiment often even around.
Is the microphone activated when recording is perhaps your built-in notebook? Disable that.
No, he said that he has a tower PC, so no notebook. In such microphones or headsets without their own sound card, each microphone is defined as "Realtek", as this is the built-in sound card on the PC what he then used, accordingly, the microphone has no name of its own.
Hello many times for your answer. And I apologize for my late reply, but I've reviewed several things you've written, even though I've already done that several times. Only with the driver update, I'm not sure. I go to the Device Manager and select under the points "Audio Inputs and Outputs" and "Audio, Video and Game Controllers" Driver Update → "Automatically search for updated driver software" but here is communicated everywhere that already the best drivers are installed. Or should I uninstall the drivers all the time, but then I do not know exactly how I'm going to reinstall them again. There's no special driver for the headset.
Now you have the choice. You could now try reinstalling the driver by uninstalling your current one. It can also be cases where the driver is not installed properly, with a reinstallation can then exclude this or fix the thing. To uninstall the driver you need to do the following: Go to Device Manager → then to "Audio, Video and Game Controllers" → right click on "Realtek High Definition Audio" → uninstall device.
To install the sound driver again, you should look at the manufacturer side of your motherboard and there for the download options, somewhere would then be the sound driver.
If you do not want to follow this step, it does not matter… It would have been just one option. I also think it's more of a setting somewhere. You could also look in the Realtek software if you have set something wrong somewhere.
Alternatively, you would have to try another sound card or sometimes plug in another device, so different headset, micro or something. But I think that you will not appreciate, unfortunately, if so, I would try it out with another device if the same case is repeated.
Finally the problem seems to be solved! Have my headset connected to a notebook, where it worked fine, and then compared the settings. I know to be honest now not exactly what it has been because the only changes I have made was in the microphone settings, under the tab "level" the microphone gain of +30.00 db to +20.00 db reset (was originally on this Value and I had already adjusted several times, when trying to fix the problem) and the upper level "Mic in front panel (Pink)" reset to 39. (I have often set this level up and down). So it seems to have been because, but so has often played around, that account amazes me that. But the main thing is the funkioniert finally…
My pleasure! I'm glad that you could then recognize the problem and fix it. I say yes, often it's just a wrong attitude, but since you are rarely smart, because you have really tried everything around. I also know it from my own experience xD
Let's hope that stays that way. Have fun in Game!
