I've been thinking of getting a laptop for my A-levels and want to keep the price at 300 euro.
It would be nice if it also has a good sound system in case I want to watch videos or films.
I don't need him to gamble, if someone should ask, but he shouldn't be too lame either.

For the price, you won't find much, at least not much good.
I would also recommend you to look for used notebooks, in general I can recommend the Lenovo Thinkpads from the 40s / 50s i.e. X240, T440, T540 etc., the devices are available at a reasonable price and also have long battery life of up to 17h each according to the selected battery (can also be exchanged naturally)
Only Chromebooks (long battery life) or cheap / used laptops go in this price range.
I'm not aware of any device with good sound in this price range.
Is the S345 any good?
It depends on what you want to do with it, you shouldn't be surprised, in addition, ChromeOS is installed there and no Windows, when it comes to programs you are also very limited.
