Laptop hdmi to tv sound?

I connected my laptop to the tv, screen transfer works, but the sound comes from my laptop. When I go to the sound settings, the laptop can't find the hdmi connection.
how do I get the sound on the tv now?

I think that went with the settings for the standard playback device, whereby the HDMI connection should of course be displayed in the sound settings.

Maybe installing the latest drivers for the graphics card will help.
