My laptop flashes for hours when trying to boot it up. If you wait long enough, it will start up at some point and then function normally. My guess is that it doesn't boot properly or that there's something wrong with the BIOS. Is there anything I can do before I send it in for repair?
That's a good question. Unfortunately you did not provide enough information. Bios settings, MS-Config settings and maybe a video would be important so unfortunately I can't help.
But it can be assumed that it is slow hardware or wrong settings.
How can I post videos? But anyway you would only see how the key illumination goes on and the screen stays black. If you point the light towards the screen you will see a regular blinking.
How could I get BIOS settings or Ms-config settings?
