At first everything was fine with my Windows laptop from acer. When I just hired him, everything worked great. I logged in normally etc…
But then it said that the battery was almost empty (forgot to charge the laptop).
Then suddenly the power was gone and the PC was off. So it did not shut down normally, but went out almost abruptly / compulsively.
Whenever I start it up, the acer logo appears for about 10 to 15 minutes (which normally only appeared for a few seconds). After these approx. 10 to 15 minutes, "Preparing Automatic Repair" will always appear under the logo:
This is then visible for approx. 1 minute and then it appears:
If I don't do anything there, the PC switches itself off after about 1 minute. When I press F1 or F8, it first appears black (with the backlight on) and then the acer logo again and everything starts all over again.
I also have the feeling that the laptop is now making strange noises. These can be heard around this point:
The sound is difficult to describe and can't always be heard. But it sounds as if something is not running completely clean, as if it rattles or chops. When I swivel the laptop, another louder noise can be heard, but this is not rattling, but is continuous.
Only this one menu, where you have to press Esc, can be opened:
(I don't know if that will help…)
Please help me, I don't know what else to do!
And if it has to be repaired, I would be interested in which part this might be and what approximate costs I would have to assume.
So from my point of view there are 2 options.
1. Try reinstalling Windows. By doing it on a USB stick. Instructions are available on the internet and it is easy.
2. Hard drive over (is more likely) and that would cost 50 euro + hard drive (SSD 512GB about 50 euro). So a total of 100 euro. But then you still have to play windows on it.
OK thanks!
Can you tell me what the problem could be? Is it because of the abrupt shutdown?
1. This menu where you can "only print ESC" is the BIOS, there you can configure roughly the entire hardware if you know how to navigate there, because you can do a lot more than just press ESC there.
2. I'm sorry, but judging by the things you've described, it's pretty safe to say that your hard drive has probably died.
A new one costs just under 100 euro, if the hard drive is actually the problem, if you want a good one.
IMPORTANT: IT MAY BE MAKE MIND, CHECK THE HARD DRIVE, TAKE IT OUT AND PLACE IT ELSE BEFORE BUYING A NEW ONE!
I've had that before and if there's such a clack noise as described, your hard drive is in the can. The stupid thing is that you need a new one with Windows on it and if you don't invest a lot of money your data is gone too.
But if you clean a new hard drive hollow the same ne ssd and no hdd
And you can get windows cheaply at mmoga or lizengo, for example, which then doesn't cost 50 euro lul
