Laptop equipment?

I need a laptop for private use (no games) and in between for the home office. I just have no idea what he must have for it. Badly needed advice.

Budget?

So as basic data I would recommend the following:

8-16 GB RAM (memory)

AMD Ryzen 5, Ryzen 7 or Intel i5, Intel i7

512GB SSD (but personal preference is required)

HDMI, Displayport etc. For connecting an external monitor (if available?)

Further equipment also according to requirements, that can't be generalized (e.g. Optical drive, card reader, number of USB ports and other interfaces)

For this, more precise data would be required.
