My problem is as follows: I have ordered a PC and have huge problems connecting to the Internet properly. If I do a speed test, I get 6.5mbits for download and 3.8mbits for upload.
However, if I do the same speed test with the mobile phone / iPad / laptop, I get a download of at least 70 mbits and an upload of at least 11 mbits.
Are there any special settings that should be made and that I simply forgot or is the problem with the computer.
I'm not the very smartest when it comes to computer knowledge, so if you need help, please explain it easily and understandably haha.
Maybe this will help you further:

How is the PC connected to the home network? And how about the cell phone? Also via Wi-Fi or LTE?
I have a router in the living room. I have a powerline adapter in my room and it was connected to the PC with a LAN cable. But otherwise everything runs via WLAN at home. I have a router in the living room. I have a powerline adapter in my room and it was connected to the PC with a LAN cable.
Unfortunately not, I have the basics, I just think it's a bit more complicated ahah
Connect the LAN cable directly to the PC and see whether the data rate improves.
I wanted to try @ Solomon22, but that doesn't work, I would have to get a 20m cable and drill a hole because my gaming room is exactly above the living room.
It could be that the sockets on which the feed and the tap for the Power Lan are located on different phases of the power grid. That costs enormous bandwidth.
Can you connect the PC via WLAN for testing?
Have already tried this and could hardly do the test as long as it took. Meanwhile had 0.2 mbits download.
If you have the option of connecting the PC directly to the router with a LAN cable - you will have to set up the PC in the living room to test it.
@ Solomon22 then I would just have to dismantle everything and place it down would be quite expensive. My guess would be that the network card may be too bad and therefore not the desired performance can be provided
That could be. Perhaps you have incorrectly configured a setting of the network card on the PC? Do some troubleshooting if possible.
No errors were diagnosed with the ethernet. When using Wi-Fi I just got the message "Problem with the wireless adapter or access point"
