I've been playing Star Stable Online for a while now, but around Christmas (2020) my game suddenly started to lag.
During this time, I was not active without thinking, which is why it didn't really bother me, but now I would like to play it more actively again.
I turned the graphic almost all the way down, but that didn't make any changes, just like showing many other options that are in the settings (shadow, …). I haven't changed anything on my laptop either, everything always ran smoothly and the requirements of the game are all covered, and the graphics card drivers are up to date.
This does not necessarily happen at the beginning of games or when people gather, but also in the middle of open spaces, where it jerks and then stops again and again.
The Fps will drop as much as 14, but then increase to or around 39.
Could someone tell me why this could be or how I can get the game running again?
Try to change the server to a very new one, for example. It could be because of the fact that some of them are extremely overloaded.
I'm in a club so I'd rather not do that, maybe there's another solution, thank you anyway
Yes, I know Try it, if it doesn't work it doesn't matter anyway
So either you change server, or you uninstall SSO again and then download it again. Or you try to close everything in the background (i.e. From your PC, i.e. Updates, programs, apps, etc.). That was also for me and that was due to the fact that I had a thousand different apps open and updates from other games were running that automatically start to update.
