IP address obfuscate for apps?

If I now veiled my IP on my laptop using a proxy in my chrome browser, it is then veiled for all network traffic or if I use an application with which I do something online (e.g. Streaming or games) then only in the browser or also veiled for this internet use?

If you only use it in the Chrome browser, e.g. As an extension, that's only in that. However, if you have a VPN thing like ProtonVPN or Tunnelbear then allea will go through there

Tunnelbear or Protonvpn both have free plans, tunnelbear you have a few MB fast, Protonbeit unlimited amount of data but slow.
