Have bought an external cd-r / rw / dvd, as soon as I connect this with the laptop, for example, to burn a mp3 cd, is always too little mb on the cd rom or cd filled, what can it be? As soon as I press burn start, it is interrupted after a few%. Driver etc is all on it, the funny one audio cd I can burn, but no mp3, although I burned at first with the burner mp3s, some said that I should use a different cd brand, which I have not done so, what ideas?

Do you have something stored somewhere to burn?

ask yourself what program you use. If audios go then the burner is not broken.

Ha

Have only tried on windows media player, there's cd overcrowded, and cdburnerxp is too little mb on the cd.

co

And you have not added any mp3 yet?

Ha

Exactly: / have already formatted laptop etc in the hope that it works, but has brought nothing. One used to use qualitatively better cds but the cd have worked at the colleague, have really more kp.

Look at it
https://www.the-sz.com/products/cdinfo/
what the thing indicates to you when the CD is inserted. And please look also if your windows has something already image etc in stock. Offt is occupied by the media player or the normal burning already the player. That happens when you experiment like crazy.

If the CD would be too cheap (which is not available today for days, the DVD has a much too accurate laser) then you could burn synonymous no audio CD.

Ha

The page you have sent me, I check iwie not. What exactly am I supposed to look at?

co

Download the tool cdinfo, unpack and start, that shows you what exactly is going on your CD. So is a pure read info about CD / DVD player

Ok, thanks, I'm looking at me in peace.

If you do not have a burning program installed, you can burn it with Windows Media Player, MP3 data or an Audio CD.

See picture, in the upper right you change to the register burn and change the standard audio setting to data CD or DVD on the far right side via the small icon.

Now you can only drag the MP3 data into the window.

Have an external cd-r rw dvd burner, aner can t burn mp3 cds, why

With the data setting fit about 99 pieces of music. Depending on the quality and length.

Ha

I know that, only it is not synonymous with this program

You may have made mistakes during installation.

Maybe you issued the burner as an external drive for backup. (There would probably be too little space for that.)
I would uninstall the burner again, and install again. Or maybe attach without installation and leave the driver search to Windows.

Ha

I also have not installed it, as soon as I plug the burner s.der usb socket, he recognizes this and then I want to start burning… And how do you do with the driver install it was no cd available and leave with windows as is like this?

Cu

As soon as you connect a device to a Windows computer via the USB port, the Windows system checks and installs the drivers.

If you have drivers & software from the burner for download or on CD,
You should first install them before connecting the device.

Look again at the picture. The black dot in the small window on the far right, should be when burning MP3, "Data CD or DVD" and not as in the picture on Audio CD.

If you do not get along with it you go with your 2 devices better to the dealer and show him that.

Install this burning software: https://www.ashampoo.com/de/eur/pin/5410/brennprogramme/Ashampoo-Burning-Studio-2019 This is a free full version for private users. You have to register for free after the installation, then you get the free unlock key.

To create an MP3 CD go to Audio + Music and then Create MP3 CD. Then simply drag and drop the MP3 files into the project. A bar indicates how much space you have left on the blank. I would just add so much that the bar does not go into the yellow area.

Finally, click on Burn. Then the blank is first analyzed for errors and then the burning process is started.
