Since my current laptop has slowly but surely blessed the time, I'm now looking for a new one.
need him for the school, so he should have enough space and be compact / lightweight.
have you had a good experience with a device? Can you recommend something and what do you think about the microsoft surface pro?
By no means the Acer Aspire V5 591G 71K2.
He is not worth his money.
What's your budget?
To 700 euro, I know, most of the top equipment costs more, but I pay him myself and do not want to spend all the internship money 😕
Then I ask more questions XD
What do you currently have for a laptop?
Would you like to use the new device at home as a workstation in conjunction with a larger screen?
What do you want to do with the part at school? Organize, write notes, record? How much space does your school equipment use on your current laptop? (Including possibly software, etc. Pp.)
Which operating system? Win10, ChromeOS
Are you planning to watch movies, save movies, play games, install, compute-intensive software such as video games? To run Photoshop to edit images or create graphics?
The Surface Pro is quite nice. In the Windows story, the 5th Generation currently costs 840 euro (with or without pen and keyboard, you should have a look). That would be over your budget. The 6th version is the latest, costs from 959 euro upwards. The screens are probably 12.5 ", which would be too personal for me to work with for several hours at a time, unless I connect it to a large PC screen.
So thank you so much first that you take so much time for me! Have a look now and I hope I can answer your questions in the best possible way (I'm really far away from an it-expert)
1) I'm currently using the medion akoya (DESKTOP-MH03AKG) with intel core m
2) just want to use it as a laptop without a screen
3) currently in the "my pc" section 108 gb are used (out of 178) and in recover "d" 16.2 gb (out of 60).
4) Windows 10 is very useful in my school because we have a lot of crumbs in the internal drive with macbooks and other special features…
5) I will soon write my diploma thesis, I have countless presentations per semester and I also need the laptop for smaller editions, donations and home exercises
6) have found the surface pro in saturn online shop for 599 euro (+ 139 euro keyboard) - but has, as I've just seen, only 128 gb SSD - that might be close, right? And as you say - he is a dwarf with 12.3 inches…
No thing.
click with the right mouse button again on the Windows icon and then click with the left again on "System". What is there still under "installed Ram" and "processor"?
Ok, that means you do not want to buy a screen at some point, put it on the desk and connect the laptop to the screen from time to time to be able to work on a larger screen?
The recovery partition is common and not relevant to us. It is always there and not optimizable. The normal partition c: could you optimize. Do you have a) ever looked at whether you can delete or outsource some of the 108 GB of some things? Offload to an external hard drive or online storage such as One Drive, Dropbox, or Google Account storage? B) have you ever defragmented the C: drive? Your data is retained. When defragmenting, individual components of the hard disk memory are only restructured in an optimized way and thus created space. This then leads to a faster access and thus working speed of the laptop. C) You could use the freeware from "iobit Driver Booster" to update your drivers and rid your system of garbage. This also boosts the performance of the current laptop
OK
Thesis? Education? Or do you mean class work? General: I would advise against a 12 "interface, but I already had a Surface in my hand, what if you go to a store and pick up a SurfacePro and maybe you can do it as well Let's open Word and write something in writing, so you know if you like it or annoy you in the long run, because the font is smaller, so you have to zoom in and scroll more often.
Do you have a link? Found only Surface Go's, and of which I would actually advise against; because of the performance. KNAPP, if you can't free your laptop from unnecessary things, or do not outsource things. 12.3 "are, yes, quite small, I have a 15.6" he, but at home also regularly connect to a 24 "screen, because it is pleasant to work on it.
And because we're at Saturn right now. A first suggestion would continue to equip you with a Medion device. This time with a Medion AKOYA S4401 Convertible. Well comes from the design of the house or the production of HP, because it looks like my HP Envy X360.
Laptop 1: 659 euro
https://www.saturn.de/...sche-daten
Characteristics:
14 "display, FULL HD
(here you have to look, obs is dull or mirrored, and whether one or the other bothers you)
Light construction (not specified, but under 3Kg are definitely)
Convertible (So laptop and tablet in one)
incl. Touch screen
The touchscreen can only be used with fingers. Use with a pen or gloves is not possible
8GB of memory, my X360 has 16GB
the CPU is rather weak. Although quad core, so 4 cores, but each runs only with 1.6GHz. My cores ever run at 2.5 GHz.
(now you would have to know what kind of CPU is installed in your current LT to compare)
You have a 512 GB Gigabyte SSD in it.
All common connections such as USB are included (1x USB 2.0, 1x USB 3.0) are included
CD-LW falls away
no Bluetooth. At least there's no information about it. So you have to buy a small Bluetooth adapter for 10 euro, if you need it
Micro SD slot is included
Battery LZ is ok
1) install. Ram 8gb / processor intel (r) core (tm) m-5y31 cpu @ 0.90 GHz 1.10 GHz
2) no, screen would not really be in question for me
3) of my 108gb can really be a part of an external hard drive (etc.) pulled (old semester and so, would not be so little), I have not defragmented, at least not knowingly 😅
5) with me in austria we write in the preparation phase a diploma thesis or prescientific work 😊 that with the in-shop-tasting is a great idea!
6) https://www.saturn.at/de/product/_microsoft-surface-pro-128-gb-m-fjr-00003-1582358.html
Thank you 😊 what do you think of medion devices in general? Had with my current minor problem (screen misfire, touchpad misfire, etc.)
Ok, it has 2 cores and everyone is 900 MHz fast in normal operation. The 8 GB Ram are ok. How did you always find work with him?
OK
Then that would also be an approach there to tease out a little more performance
-
OK
Nice, so in Austria. We will be disadvantaged in DTL so XD ^^ … If you should get the part, I would drauflegen 99 euro in your place. Because for 599 euro get NEN M processor. One like in your Medion. It has 2 cores and each runs at 1 GHz. Do you put it on 99 euro, you come across the budget, but would have nen i5. Its 2 cores run in normal operation with 2.6 GHz each. So almost 3x as fast as the M-processor.
RAM is 4 GB (that's why I would invest 99 euro more, because otherwise you could stay with your old LT, which would even have 4GB more RAM and only 100MHz less CPU power compared to the M processor.
Bluetooth 4.1 is at the start; as well as all other meaningful things
Battery-LZ is nice
because of the screen, you have to try out if that's for you or not *
* I imagine just challenging, on a 12 "screen, for example, the Word program and at the same time ne PDF file. (Would you, for example, still have a screen, you could have opened the PDF file on the tablet and work in Word on the larger screen XD, but we had already ; is not desired)
I'm too much layman to judge. Never owned a medion before. But the Medions at Aldi / Lidl always went away like hot cakes and got in the journals relatively good grades. You always have to cut corners somewhere, but you can't complain like that, I think. Concerning. Screen and Touchpadaussetzer: My LT likes to switch times between tablet and LT mode (have the demand to change if I want to switch). My touchpad always stands out in the lower right corner. Must press this down regularly, then nibs, and everything looks good again.
+ Work -work -in + in. Today I have the spelling. That is always such a balancing act, if I change between online and offline world.
I mean, 99 euro on the 700 euro. Not 99 euro on the 569 euro on it If you want to get it; otherwise I would say goodbye to the Surface.
LT 2. 667 euro

Wow, you are an angel! So many ideas that do not just let me run after any designs or great features! That with the word + pdf - file at the same time is true, because I could get into the swirl on the next copy & paste
as you have guessed, the tip-top version would be a bit too expensive for me…
to my current medion I can only say: snails sometimes run away from me. The good one is genre times time and tests my nerves on some days! I have to say too - with time you can feel it on the back. It is lighter than my age, the weight of a Stone Age device and the thick but still a proud placeholder in a backpack…
a smaller device certainly has advantages due to its weight, but I can only imagine how exhausting it is to spend hours staring at such a small screen, because I love my laptop a lot!
I just notice that in Austria the Akoya Convertible costs 799 euro. It's not that easy, eh.
I also have to say that I do not feel like watching XD anymore. For Free I limit the time ^^.
A few Tipps:
For a working laptop, there should be a balance between CPU speed and memory. You should not have 4GB of RAM. And, if you have 4GB, the CPU should be good.
The HP notebook is the epitome of a working laptop. Has 1.6 Ghz, 4 cores, turbo to 3Ghz. All connections are included. Full HD synonymous, if I have watched correctly… And the plate is synonymous ok. Believe that has also nen DVD-LW in it. So now you have 3 ideas. 1x Medion, 1x HP and 1x Microsoft.
Thanks for the saturn link!
You have been Really a very great help to me, many thanks for the great ideas and suggestions and especially for the time you have invested in it!
No thing. Now I have to eat something first ^^. There are still many alternatives to satisfy your needs. You are following the idea of "tablet + keyboard". I realized the idea "Convertible Laptop + Screen + Mouse + Keyboard". If you respect yourself. Your scope a little einschränkst you could for 700-800 euro to buy a Ø laptop and a 24 "screen. Or a 200 euro tablet with keyboard for organizing and notes Writing and Development / Editing (smaller) Presentations and PDFs and a 500-600 euro desktop PC, where you could work at home at the desk, quasi-stationary, and also use your tablet as a second screen. Several roads lead to Rome
