Buy something strong with good cooling. You can even upgrade this one if necessary, the processor is socketed:

and your acer has ne too small ssd with 500GB-you don't get far
Would the Acer be good otherwise? Storage would be enough with an external HDD
Do not do that. External HDD smokes at some point and then your beautiful video is gone.
But from the specs?
