I have a problem with my Roland FP 10… I would like to record my songs and then convert them to Mp3.
For this I connected my electric piano to the laptop via USB A / B cable and would now like to know how to proceed.
I've already read a lot on the Inet with VST etc., but it doesn't work…
Your piano will most likely only deliver a MIDI signal via USB. It is best to record the sound of your piano directly. About the audio out.
How do I do that? 😕 Thanks for the quick answer!
The simplest but not the best thing would be, you just take a cable and go from the audio out of your electric piano to the input of your sound card on your PC. Then you install the free program Audacity and record yourself while playing.
And how do you do that with the USB host cable? Have Audacity, Avil and FL Studio 20 available to make sound recordings🙆♂️
Would be super nice if you could still tell me the way for the best possible quality leider I'm rather a beginner when it comes to technology: /
Addendum:
With FL Studio Demo it works. Simply connect via USB in the Midi Settings, select the device, then switch from pattern to song and record in the piano roll with any VST.
Right. It's just a MIDI signal. As I wrote. By the way, you can't save the project in the demo version.
