Is AMD Ryzen 3 3250U good?

I want to buy a new laptop. I have one in mind that has 8GB and the processor AMD Ryzen 3 3250U. The price of the laptop is very good. The one with icore 5 is much more expensive. Is the AMD Ryzen 3 the same or worse? The laptop should not be overwhelmed if I have many pages open at the same time and still have image processing programs in parallel e.g. Use.

So the GPU part is considerably better than that from Intel.

With 2 cores and 4 threads, you can't expect miracles. But you can't expect much from an Intel DualCore either.

In addition, the RAM is considerable for both, 8GB are not the world. But that's the minimum for low-cost notebooks.

It is advantageous if you choose a Ryzen 5 notebook, it is considerably stronger and does not really cost much more (2500u / 3500u… 4 cores 8 threads).

EDIT

Annotation…

Comparable:

Intel i3 = AMD Ryzen 3

Intel i5 = AMD Ryzen 5

Intel i7 = AMD Ryzen 7

In all of them, AMD is MUCH stronger in the GPU part, the CPU part doesn't take much.

Thank you for your competent answer.

I wrote another EDIT… CPU comparison of the series.

Whether it is good depends primarily on the price. In a 350 euro laptop? Quite good. In a 500 euro laptop? Definitely not

It is enough for a little surfing and easy image editing, but the RAM could be scarce

br

That's nice of you. Great.

It is the HP14-dk1335ng. Maybe you could take a look at it and see if the values are reasonably good? I don't need a high-end notebook. It's just not supposed to be an overheated box that is constantly stalling and slow.

Single channel RAM and a low-resolution TN panel. For 499 euro of absolute snot

I would take a few euro more in hand and z. Buy something like that

Thanks for the warning!

The Ryzen 3 is sufficient for your purposes. Would be interesting to know how much the laptops cost and what else is installed.

499 euro. It was about the HP14-dk1335ng. LG

This is too expensive! For the money there's a Ryzen 5 and a Full HD display
