Images from smartphone to laptop slow as if it was 2005?

I'm trying to drag pictures from a Galaxy S10 to a laptop because I have to reset the phone. But it all takes an indescribably long time. A jpeg takes 25 seconds! USB port is 3.0, cell phone has USB C and cable is from Samsung. I don't understand a lot about PC but also in the task manager says that hardly any power is needed. Can someone help.

Hi, sounds more like a bluetooth connection. Did you select "Transfer files" when connecting the USB cable on the phone?
