Laptop hard drive, M.2 SSD and 2nd M.2 SSD raid option?

I would like to play a laptop for emulators and possibly buy newer games. I want an M.2 SSD for my hard drive. Now I'm asking myself two questions:

1. How big should the memory of the hard disk and the M2 SSD be? I thought the hard drive 1TB and the M2 SSD 500GB, or both 1TB.

2. Should I also take a second M.2 SSD raid option? If so, how big should it be?

Don't know exactly how best to do it.

Would you like to install Windows on an SSD and the games on an HDD or everything on an SSD?

di

I don't know how much space you need… A RAID makes no sense with SSDs at least mMn. If you want to pack on the SSD operating system and games, I would min. Take 1TB. I wouldn't build an HDD into a laptop anymore.

Se

Don't know exactly, sry am not so fit as far as this topic is concerned

su

Okay, are you someone who prefers fast loading times or don't you care to wait 10 seconds?

Se

I'm not so fit in this subject sry. So don't install a hard drive and save everything on the SSD or what?

Se

So I want fast loading times

su

Then I would take a 500GB SSD or higher for Windows and a 2TB SSD for games

Se

Ok, I'll put my laptop together here:

https://www.nexoc.de/shop/notebooks/nach-anwendung/gaming/gh5/gaming-gh5

and unfortunately only up to 1TB with SSD

su

Then take 1TB twice first. If it is not enough you can still install it yourself is not difficult

Se

So hard drive 1 TB and SSD 1 TB?

su

I just see you can have 1TB built in three times here so it should fit https://www.nexoc.de/shop/AtsdConfigurator/loadSelection/key/ae1c7c7aa0790d2039ef5f951448bf3d

Se

Ok, then hard drive, M2 SSD and with the 2nd M2 SSD each 1TB. And the "versions" also fit like that? Because there are several with 1TB.

su

Have you selected good ones click on my link.

Se

I already have, thank you very much.

su

Gladly.

Yup, that's how I would do it. A 1-2 TB SSD for everything. If more space is needed, you can add one more.
