Normal Whatsapp or Whatsapp Web and what can I do?

I've just asked a question about it. I'm completely confused now. My girlfriend apparently entered my number on Whatsapp and then I got a call with a code (3 digits). Does that mean she has normal access to my Acc or does that mean she can read my messages via Whatsapp Web? I have just tested it on another device (log in to acc) and there was the code (4 or 5 digits) but then it says that it works ub whatsapp web right? But she can't scan anything on her cell phone because that only works on my cell phone? Or does she not have to scan anything from her cell phone and all she needs is the code? I logged out on my cell phone and laptop, but shouldn't she still be logged in on her cell phone? Does she have access to the web or what?
