Upgrade to Windows 10 + reset pc?

I have a laptop (Windows 7) and would like to know how I can upgrade it to Windows 10 so that all personal data is also deleted. I already have a Windows 10 installation CD

During setup select "Custom Installation", then "Drive Options".

No Win10 installation DVD is required for the Win10 upgrade.
All you need is a good internet connection. If you have a LAN cable, I would use it to connect to the router.

Your data and installed programs will be retained.
