I installed Linux MX on my laptop and dragged it to a USB stick, at the beginning everything worked, but now I can no longer get into windows 10, no matter what I do and the problem is I can't even get into Linux anymore, that means me have nothing to start with please help.
Look for the information in the BIOS regarding the state of the data memory and the boot priorities.
Done it all
Have you deleted or modified windows?
also: never do anything without knowing what you are doing
What is currently happening when you start the PC? Error message? Is there just nothing happening?
So, to be more precise: WRITE MORE THAN "does not work", if you really want hints.
Either when I don't do anything, only the courser _ that flashes in the top left and nothing happens or when I go to the boot menu, options such as DVD drive internal hdd appear but pressed everywhere and only the courser _ that flashes.
--- it said nonsense
You surely still have the MX Linux on a USB stick, right? Then start it and use GParted to look at the hard drive (s) to see what is there.
First repair the master boot record with a Windows installation DVD.
To do this, boot up the computer with the setup DVD and start the Windows console (terminal) from there.
If that worked, install Linux over it again, this will reinstall the bootloader for Linux in Grub.
