Have an MSI GT70 with 2x128GB mSATA SSD's and an HDD.
Unfortunately, I made the mistake of buying a power supply from a third-party manufacturer because the original had a cable break after 3 years. After a while gave a short circuit, the mainboard is through etc.
I removed the HDD, all data there, great.
I removed the SSDs and attached them to the new computer via an external housing via USB. 1xSSD is probably burned out, is not recognized.
the second is recognized, but I can't access the data.
It offers me a maximum of formatting and then using it.
Does anyone have any idea how I can get the data?
Systems similar to Linux can try it. Kaspersky rescue disk or something like that also showed broken hard drives including files. You should also be able to copy. Otherwise say goodbye
For such cases I use Recuva, which is very good and free of charge.

But I would still pick up the other SSD!
2x128 GB sounds like RAID. If it was RAID0 then you lost. RAID0 always writes half on one disk and the second half on the other disk. This can't be reconstructed. You can only hope that the other SSD is still somehow readable
Yep, RAID is whether RAID0 I can't say. Thanks for the information. Didn't have all private data (pictures etc.) on the HDD, but unfortunately also something on SSD. Well, at least I have a 128GB backup drive after formatting. I try to see positive.
Thank you, I'll try that.
