Got an old Thoshiba Satellite C850 laptop that I haven't used for a long time. The last time it was used (about 1.5 years), the battery was no longer the best.
Now I have the phenomenon that the PC with battery and power supply unit starts up (you can hear it) but there's no picture.
When I turn off the laptop, remove the battery, and start it up, it works normally.
When the battery is installed, the charging LED only flashes every 10 seconds and the battery does not seem to be charging. Even after an hour when I start the PC, it is gone immediately when I pull the plug.
What do you say, battery defective? Personally, my guess is the battery.
If you haven't used the battery for 1.5 years, then I think so too. That probably killed him completely.
