What should I look for when buying my laptop?

I would like to buy a new laptop and watch vital videos there so YouTube etc… And save and edit photos videos what do I have to consider and what does my computer / laptop need?

What do you want to spend

Photos and videos, you have to save and edit them a bit, do you really want to edit the videos or just cut off a little cell phone video in front and back?

Editing in terms of a few filters, or professional post-processing of RAW format images?

For the former and YouTube only a screen with at least Full HD resolution and good color fidelity is necessary, for the latter also at least 8 gigabytes of RAM and a fast processor.
