I have had my laptop for 2 years now. It was only ever used for everyday tasks, but I have the feeling that it is getting too hot. With the MSI Afterburner, I found out that it gets 75 degrees hot when used openly (Youtube in Opera GX). Can't something be right? It becomes difficult to clean because the laptop is purpose built and doesn't open that easily. Tips?
Pc components often heat up to 75 degrees with little cooling, so I think it shouldn't be a problem. As long as you leave the fan outlets free, the laptop should be cooling.
75 degrees to watch on YouTube are relatively too hot. (Usually it is between 50-60 degrees on YouTube to watch)
It is best to clean and replace the thermal paste.
So with my laptop, 75C is no problem. Download Speedfan there you can see the respective temperatures on the laptop or PC, e.g. Graphics card, processor, etc. You can also set the fan speed on PCs. With laptops this goes as far as I don't know. But you can ask the software to regulate the fan speed automatically. The software helps me really well so that my laptop doesn't overheat.
