I'm now trying to reinstall the Windows 7 Professional 64 bit on Papa's laptop for the second time and every time it hangs with the point: "Installation is completed"!
The setup freezes and the mouse pointer can't be moved either; not to mention the keyboard!
What could it be and how can I finally get the stupid Windoof finally installed?
Because never had that; as often as I install Windows 7 on a PC / laptop!
The laptop is a Sony Vaio with 4 GB RAM and 2 Ghz; therefore a few years old, but still in top condition.
Would be very grateful for your answers.
Ps: Happy weekend everyone:-))
First, hold the vacuum cleaner to the fan, always the first aid measure when it is not working properly.
Second, you can often remove the battery from your laptop.
Third, you could connect the hard drive to an external PC via an external adapter and format it completely.
Then everything is empty at the minute.
(installateren nevertheless in the laptop because of the drivers)
Fourth, be patient.
He is older, they sometimes take a little longer.
Fifth, if it doesn't work on CD, try either to burn a new one or to create a boot stick.
