Antivirus programs. Kaspersky or Avast? What are your experiences, which would you recommend?

I have a question about antivirus programs for both smartphones and notebooks. Now I have concluded from the excess of information that Avast and Kaspersky should be quite good. I plan to buy such a program for the current occasion. What are your experiences with the two antivirus programs? Would you recommend it and which one is best for multiple devices?

Would be very grateful for numerous testimonials and recommendations πŸ˜‰!

Lo

In my amateurish assessment, a lot of bad things are detected.

Gu

I personally find Antivieren software unnecessary even use only that of Windwos and I think that's enough. If you are not on any illegal and dubious sites and you do not refer to the links that tell you what is enough, what the Windows defender does.

But if I'm more for Kaspersky

El

Am very satisfied and have just renewed…

wa

Thank you. Which device exactly?

wa

Thank you! Yes, so I thought so far πŸ˜…! Unfortunately got my smartphone πŸ˜…

Ti

Most of it is just snake oil.

Braking the device and offering little added value or even negative effects (sale of user data)

The Windows Defender is always sufficient for the PC on Win10.

The virus total scanner and the scanner from Google itself are now available on Android.

(Avast is known to massively sell user data)

Thank you πŸ˜‰!

The virus total scanner and the scanner from Google itself are now available on Android.

Do you have to download these scanners separately or is this updated? Have a Samsung S9.

Ti

Ne the virus total scanner is an app that you have to download yourself

El

Notebook, win7

Avast currently has a massive problem with security and privacy. On the one hand, they resold hundreds of millions of user data, including the addresses they surfed on and some of them. Can be assigned by name. Then Avast must switch off the JavaScript scanner today because they could be run with malicious code with admin rights. It couldn't be worse. What do I need a virus for when my virus scanner is already sending all data online and security gaps are opening up?!

Kaspersky also didn't exactly shine by attaching a tag to every URL it visited to identify the device. Cookie blockers were immediately overtaken on the right.

Virus scanners are important and good. But these two have been noticed by serious security holes. But many others too.

Ok then you were probably careless once only we had a safety training course in our company there are 350,000 new fours every day but the four scanners only learn around 280,000 every day there's a problem.

But for certain you can also take one and if you still pay attention to what you click or where you are, the scanner should hopefully not hit at all.
