I poured a glass of orange juice over my laptop yesterday.
I turned it off immediately, pulled the plug and dabbed everything with paper towels. I also let everything run out and opened the laptop as far as it could and left it to dry overnight.
When I tried to turn it back on earlier, it didn't work, then I plugged in and the screen didn't know anything else…
The screen was briefly "normal" again and automatic repair is being prepared, but shortly afterwards it was white again.
Yesterday the screen lit up and blinked in blue, green, white, red, black.
When I attach it to the charging cable, however, the small lamp that it is charging lights up; the one where it is displayed that it is on, however, does not, even if the screen is lit.
Can someone help me? What can I still do and can it still be saved?
Because orange juice also contains sugar, everything is sticky, I don't think there's anything left to save
Take it apart and blow-dry the motherboard or at least dry it again. The motherboard is so angled that there will still be something stuck in some corners, but if you can get it back together you have to know if you do something like that
I already got a blow dryer yesterday, so everything should be dry now…
You can't get to all corners of the case; you have to either remove the mainboard or place it on a heater with the fan opening facing up
