Overheating in my laptop?

Hello on the mainboard is a stain. Is there something blown or something like that? The bottom cover has also become a bit soft in some places or as they say. PC can be started but auto repair is on startup. As far as I know, no liquid has flowed over yet.

PC is already 7 years old!

Please answer

lo

Difficult to see, but looks like a burn mark. Or dust.

St

So overheating?

lo

Not necessarily. Looks very dusty. Overheating and burning is unlikely in such a place as long as you do not change anything. Wipe gently with a dry cloth.

St

With the plastic cover you have to take off or where you say has bissl become so soft in one place?

lo

What do you think?

St

The cover of the laptop that you have to screw on to get inside is at one point the plastic a bit soft or melted

First remove dust with a brush. Let the device lie and put your finger on it at that point. It looks like a via. If it gets warm or really hot there, it is possible that the connection top to bottom has a break. But you can re-solder (clean the area beforehand)

lo

Really? Then it was probably overheating. If the computer is still working, you don't need to worry.

In order to be able to make any statement here, the picture must be taken much larger or closer. That is far too small.

Why don't you let Autorepair perform if he offers you that?

7 years is not old for my laptops… Rather still young. As long as the device meets your requirements, there's nothing to be said against age!
