I recently bought a new notebook and I have a problem with it. I installed windows 10 myself and was still able to create text documents, then I made a windows update and can no longer create or open text documents, only with another program can I open them. Who has a bike for me?
With the right mouse button in the properties of the file concerned, you can set the program with which you want to open the type of file by default… Then you select a text editor!
Unfortunately it didn't work. My notebook only shows three apps: worldpad, paint, internet explorer and search in the Microsoft store
You can click on "Show more programs" or something like that? Then it shows you all installed programs. Otherwise just install a sensible text editor.
