As roughly described above, I would like to remove a watermark from a video. Do you know any good programs or apps (no matter if cell phone or laptop)? It is important that it is free.
A watermark is usually on videos or photos to protect them from unauthorized use by strangers.
So if you have permission to use the video, the author can certainly give you the original. If you don't have permission you can't just remove it and pass it off as yours.

These symbols are an indication (protection) that one is not so easily authorized to use this material for one's own purposes.
If there's a character that is generated directly by the program, there will certainly be a paid version. You then have to pay for it and the sign will surely disappear. (I guess now.)
Free versions normally have this kind of protection so that this can be seen. After all, the terms of use will say something about when and how you can use these free trials.
