If there's no operating system, just install GNU / Linux (e.g. Ubuntu or Linux Mint) and Cura for free, then you can start.

If you want to create 3D models for printing yourself, I recommend Blender.

To get a preview of the .stl files in the file manager I recommend https://github.com/.../stl-thumb

Do you know one with an operating system?

What do you think of that? https://geizhals.de/...at&hloc=de

You will get something for that. You should make sure to have at least 8GB of RAM inside. I bought an HP with an Amd-Ryzen processor and 8GB from LIDL for about 460 euro, it is quite a bit. Has a graphic acceleration on the CPU chip (RavenRidge with 2 cores / 4 threads).

I use it under Linux, and it is not recommended, my wife uses the same one under Windows and is quite satisfied.

For graphics, the display is of course completely inferior to a 24 "monitor like the one I have on a PC. But Cura and other slicers are easy to use.

At Notebooksbilliger I just looked for AMD notebooks with 4 cores and 8GB from Lenovo from 400 euro. Just search there and then search for test reports.

You can also take it, has an older processor installed and no operating system preinstalled.
