I have the following question because I'm not familiar enough and I hope for help:
My GMX memory (not the hard drive) of my laptop is full, a paid upgrade already exists and I temporarily neither send nor receive an email. I keep deleting everything in my mail that I can do without - but that's not enough.
With POP-UP I outsource everything in OUTLOOK. It also arrives there, including my additional GMX mailboxes (divide the GMX memory - but count towards the GMX memory volume).
Now to my question: How can I safely export files from OUTLOOK, but in such a way that I can easily access them again?
After swapping out, I would like to delete the files in the GMX memory so that I can free up capacity again, but without losing the security via OUTLOOK?
Wr can give me some advice?
I do not know any GMX memory on your computer. What I know about GMX is that they mean the memory that your data uses online at GMX. I guess that you pick up the emails, but do not delete them on the mail server, but leave them there so that they continue to use GMX memory. When you pick up emails, you shouldn't keep them on the server.
Your use of "POP UP" makes me suspect that you also lack the basic knowledge of e-mail technology. There you should look for someone who will teach you this first.
You can secure your GMX account, which you probably query via POP3 in Outlook.
For this you use the export function of Outlook and select ".PST file" for the export. This saves the data in a file that is on your hard drive.
You can open this file at any time with Outlook and you will receive your emails.
