Tricked Fritz Box?

I connected to the Fritz Box on my laptop and then activated the hotspot. Then I connected my cell phone to the hotspot on my laptop, which is connected to the Fritz Box. And my question is whether my father can see what I'm doing on my cell phone. So website or games or Snapchat and insta.

To what extent have you "tricked" the Fritzbox with it?

It doesn't matter whether the data is retrieved directly from the laptop itself and displayed there, or whether the data is passed on from the laptop to the cell phone and displayed there in the relevant program.

The data packets that have to flow through the Fritzbox and the destination addresses of the servers with which you communicate in the network do not change.

So, nothing won, you can also look at the pages on the larger PC screen.

Isn't there a way to outsmart the Fritz Box?

You could use a VPN. From the point of view of the router, this would only be contact with the VPN server. The router can no longer see what websites you are on.
