I was just under the shower and was so naive to leave my cooking chicken on the stove while I was cleaning myself.
Then I hear the fire alarm go off and I thought it was again in the hallway outside in the corridor, so I took a quiet shower first - But no, it was mine in the apartment.
I took note of that when a stench of smoke hit my nostrils. I jumped out of the shower as if it were about my family, (Live alone) put out the stove and took my chicken in the pot from the stove. Then I grabbed the ladder to turn off the smoke detector.
I know, at least now, that he does his job and is loud enough - so much for the positive aspect of this situation and the whole lousy day today.
My chicken is no longer edible and I stink despite the shower again. I was smoked a bit, but it was not black smoke, after all.
I'm going to make a pizza in the oven right now.
The windows are of course torn open and I've turned off all the lights, only my notebook screen lights up, because on the one hand I'm ashamed of something and on the other hand I do not want livestock flying in from outside. Since here already a lot of greenery is outside.
I'm cold and wondering how long the smell will stay?
What smell anyway?
Because of WHAT did the smoke detector go off if nothing had fumed?
The smell will probably stay something. Get a scent spray. It's best to open windows and heating or take blankets. There are not many insects in the weather. And if it does, catch it. The main thing is that you get rid of the stench.
If a chicken in the pot charred you, you'll understand…
I'm glad that you have text comprehension.
@ 92Fragen. Boiling chicken on the stove. And finally it's charred…
Say… HOW LONG DO YOU SOUGHT?
