I'm looking for a way to use my Windows 10 laptop as an alarm clock. It would be best if it starts from energy-saving mode shortly before the alarm so that the fan does not blow around all the time.
You can have an audio file played using task planning. The trigger is then given the appropriate time at which the laptop should "ring".
I have not yet tested whether the PC / laptop also starts from energy-saving mode.

do you mean this?

In principle, if I take the pre-installed alarm clock app from Windows, it does not start from energy-saving mode and when the laptop is switched on, you can't sleep because the fan is running. 🤔
But the task planner can "wake up" from standby
