Is my pc / laptop sufficient for the game?

I'm not very familiar with computers and wanted to ask if my laptop is sufficient for the new Anno 1800.

My laptop:

i7-4710HQ 2.5 GHz

NVIDIA Geforce GTX 860M

16GB RAM

System Requirements Anno 1800:

Operating system: Microsoft Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10 (only 64-bit versions)
Processor: Intel i5 4690k @ 3.5 GHz, AMD Ryzen 5 1400 @ 3.2 GHz.
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 770 (4 GB VRAM) or AMD Radeon R9 285 (2 GB VRAM),

DirectX: DirectX 11 or DirectX 12.

I'm unsure of all, because the requirements are 3.5GHz minimum and I have only 2.5GHz.

I'm happy about every answer

No, not enough. If a CPU on the level of 4690k is vorgesezt, then you are with your 4710HQ about 33% behind.

It seems like a very CPU-intensive game. Your GPU too weak. Neither has the 4 GB VRAM nor comes close to the performance of a GTX 770 ran.

Very CPU-heavy. I got the game to maximum (and wuselfaktor very high) only liquid with the i9 9900k processor. Before that did not work on these settings.

No, not at the front and back.

For Anno 1800 (actually for almost all games of the series) you need a really strong desktop CPU. The system requirements for your GPU are also not enough, although I would expect that you will be able to play at low to medium setting on small cards, the game, at least in the initial phase, quite well. But if yours or NPC settlements get bigger, it'll be a slideshow.

Basically: Your laptop is very good and much better than what the average has here. The 4710HQ is a quad core that can clock up to 3.4 GHz. The graphics of laptops hangs normal PC graphics cards always behind, but even that is not so bad on your device.

My prediction: With reduced resolution in 1366 * 768 and 30 to 45 fps, Anno 1800 can still run on your device. Just try it.

It still remains to be concluded that laptops are only partially suitable for gaming, a real PC is always the better choice.

I also have no problem with the Ryzen 2700X and a GTX Titan X in the game. Even a 4.5 GHz overclocked 3770K packs that.

The 3.4 Ghz manages but only on a core. Since you have nothing at Anno from.

As ZaoDaDong already wrote that is the Turbo Boost on a core, added that the boosts in mobile chips are limited in time (the cooling of a laptop is not designed to operate permanently on the TDP also wattage is limited, because otherwise immediately the battery would be empty). So at games you do not have much of the boost clocks.

The reduction in resolution and details would relieve the GPU, yes, but at Anno you get very fast into the CPU limit, namely as soon as the settlements grow and then helps even potato graphics not further.
