I bought a new notebook, but my battery only charges up to 87%. That bothers me, supposedly it should be better for the battery, but there are always many different opinions about it.
I've scoured the internet, but nothing really could help me. Does anyone know the problem and can help me?
This is the case if the voltage of the power supply unit is too low, the battery is defective or the voltage regulation in the laptop does not work correctly or the charging characteristic was selected incorrectly by the laptop manufacturer.
I assume that it is an original battery, because some imported goods also show this behavior.
I suspect it is a setting as it problem loads up to 87%.

The manufacturer is happy. And you are also happy because everything is going well again.
