RockJam 61 Key keyboard piano with pitch bend
Hello, I have already searched for answers to my question, but I did not really find anything.
I wanted to know if I could connect my key to my laptop so I could learn how to play apps and tutorials and practice? And that I can edit certain songs (this genre is almost never discussed) so that I can work with them in the Piano Roll view?!
Unfortunately, as a woman, I'm not technically adept when it comes to something like that. So I would be happy for help.
Theoretically, that's already possible.
Your keyboard has a thick 6.3mm headphone output and your laptop has a normal 3.5mm microphone input. For the connection you need a cable with plugs on both ends, whereby you usually put an adapter on one end so that it fits into the keyboard
If you want to do it really professionally, you need a so-called Midi interface and a sound card with midi input or USB midi, which is more to be found in the PC area and not on the laptop.
Otherwise your local instrument dealer will certainly be able to help you and also offer such solutions.
Otherwise, depending on the manufacturer of the keyboard, a USB-B (if there's a connector on the keyboard) can also help to USB. It is also possible (if specified in the manual) to use USB-MIDI.
I once uploaded a photo of my entrances and exits.
