Why doesn't Twitch want a Twitch app for smart TVs?

I do not understand. YT has that and they also advertise. Twitch could do that too (and make even more trillions of billions).

But most of all, I and all the other Twitch could stream / watch on my TV and that would be pretty convenient. It is a bit annoying that I have to connect my notebook to the TV if I want to see Twitch on the TV.
