Farming simulator from CD to stick or similar Copy?

I bought the LS19 as a CD version 2 years ago.

I recently bought a new notebook, but it doesn't have a CD drive.

Is there somehow the possibility that I can still play my farming simulator on my new notebook?

I thought this would work with a stick or an external hard drive, but my attempts failed ;-)

Does anyone know of a solution or a trick to this topic

Here is a solution:

First create an ISO from the CD with this tool:

https://www.wintotal.de/download/iso-toolkit/

Then copy the ISO to an external hard drive and then insert it into the new notebook. Then copy the ISO to the notebook. Then right-click the ISO and select Mount. Then the ISO behaves like an inserted CD and appears as a drive letter. Then install the farming simulator.

The ISO has to remain "mounted" even while playing. To eject the ISO, right-click on the drive letter and select Eject.
