I need a second hard drive in my notebook. I've already screwed it on and checked it out! You can install a 2.5 inch hard drive, now my question is whether I should install an SSD or whether I should save the money and put it in a larger HDD.
So my notebook currently uses a WD SN720 which can read and write very quickly.
I hope someone can help me.
If you travel a lot, use an SSD, as HDDs can break during frequent transport.
I'm mainly at home, but I travel about every two weeks and every now and then I take him to school. Should I take an SSD then or?
HDD somehow doesn't make much sense in a laptop. 1.5Tb are a lot for a mobile device anyway.
For large amounts of data, external HDDs make more sense in my opinion. As an alternative, a NAS.
When I see so much memory on a mobile device, I get a bad feeling. Please keep in mind that a laptop can be stolen quickly or forgotten.
Please keep in mind regular data backups. You can also outsource data here, so you may not need a second internal disk.
I actually only use SSDs on mobile devices. An HDD is generally too sensitive for a laptop.
I actually only use HDDs in servers.
Better is this
