I would like to buy an SSD for my laptop, but was a bit overwhelmed by the Sata 6 because I only know Sata 3, or is it a Sata 3 disk?
SATA is SATA. The 6 stands for Gb / s and not for SATA. There are connections for different speeds, but they are all compatible with each other.
So this is a hard drive for "SATA 6G", also known as "SATA-3".
Is it written on it?
SATA-3 is the same as SATA-6 which actually means SATA-6G for 6 GBits / s
All right that's a Sata 3 hard drive. You wouldn't be able to buy anything else either.
The 6 stands for 6gb / s.
OK.
