I'm 18, girl
I want to get a laptop or a PC and save things like resume etc. On it or for school lectures Sims wants to gamble on it but have no plan what to get, what would you recommend to me what's the difference? We had a laptop which is broken which I think was 3 years old and my brother has a PC which is older and still works. Can it be that Pc live longer, but are also more expensive?
It depends entirely on what you find better and is adapted to your needs, I'm team lapi because it is more mobile and I can also sit on the sofa with it
Plus an external hdd for data backup, preferably a small NAS server with two mirrored disks
Can it be that pc live longer, but are also more expensive?
Tower PCs live longer, but are cheaper on average because it is not so easy to put together a laptop.
The question is whether you want to be mobile.
If so - laptop
If not - Tower PC
The performance of a tower PC is usually stronger for the same price, so would rather recommend a tower.
Then there's the question of the budget.
95% of people don't need that…
If it is not about gaming, a LAPTOP is 10 times more practical. Just look for the longevity that an ssd is installed
99 :)
Or 99. X)
I need one but not in a RAID.
And IF they needed them, the shouting is great
. And why not a raid?
have you never dropped a hdd down?
Or you can use OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox or whatever as a free version to put your documents on it…
A NAS is overkill for such small things…
Well, I like to keep my data under control… And if my NAS is not connected to the network, it should be quite difficult to access it against my will from the outside.
these things are now available for a few euro fifty… Before I book an external server, I buy my own
Pc live longer, but are also cheaper. The price performance is better.
