I have a very urgent question.
I tried to sell a laptop on Ebay classifieds. The problem is that until jz it turned out that they are probably fraudsters from England who ask me to send the item with the shipping confirmation to the buyer's bank in order to credit the money to me. So I thought I would try to sell my laptop directly on Ebay and now actually bought my laptop and have the feeling that the same thing is going on again.
I have now sent my account details and came back the following message.
Hello, I made the payment via HSBC BANK and the payment confirmation was sent to your email box. There you have to look for the correct delivery address of my uncle in your inbox or in your spam email and return to HSBC Bank after sending. Many thanks
Is this really just a scam again because I'm sure I'm not sending anything away until I have no money in my account.
FRAUD!
If the money is not in your account (without confirmation email or other rubbish) you should NOT send the goods under any circumstances.
This is the common scam. Do not send.
Unfortunately you all don't learn out. There's never a reason to sell something to someone when you have a bad gut feeling.
But now it's too late and you have to fill your contract.
Only send insured (!) As a package when the money is received in an account. Not previously. Everything else is not accepted and will not give in here.
Depending on the value of the goods, additional insurance must be taken out with the parcel service provider, since most only insure up to 500 euro, as far as I know, only DHL offers up to 5,000 euro
Test the notebook extensively beforehand (witnesses) not from the family.
All pages meticulously check and scratch, scratch and take photos of any damage.
Take proof photos of the packing and take a test run of the notebook.
And that's just as well! First the money, then the goods!
In addition, I would only send the article here to the address on Ebay!
When paying with PayPal, I would only send to the address stored with the buyer's PayPal!
In addition, I would never send uninsured… But you never planned to do that anyway.
I also got an email from Ebay that this is probably a scam
MC098 item buyer suspicious
Good day
We had to delete bids from the buyer tracym-16, since he is not registered on eBay:
