Games detection on discord is not working?

I've already googled how to set this, but there's that you have to click in the user settings on "games", and my settings is not. Is that because I have a laptop and no PC or is my laptop too old to be able to do this? Or you have to download Discord completely and not just open in the browser? Can someone help me with this?

This is not possible in the browser. You have to download the desktop version
